Draze is a passionate and captivating voice with unique perspective on important issues in today’s world. With Draze, the music is always about a movement.  He found a national audience with the release of his song and video The Hood Ain’t the Same, which target the issue of gentrification in urban African-American neighborhoods.  Draze has become one of the foremost voices raising awareness on this topic in the Northwest, appearing on TV and Radio, and at special events at colleges and universities.

Activism

Inspired by activists like Martin Luther King Jr, Steven Biko, Bob Marley, and Nelson Mandela, Draze creates experiences to mobilize people towards solutions for social progress. Draze has a unique multi-cultural perspective that allows him to connect in a heart-felt way with diverse audiences.
